We welcome nationally-known pedagogue Dr. Kate Boyd for a live webinar on two topics: “Seven Principles of Technique” and “If You Like That, You’ll Love This”, an exploration of pieces to substitute for overplayed pieces. Dr. Boyd will be joining us online from her studio in Indianapolis.

Dr. Boyd is Professor of Piano and Piano Area Coordinator at Butler University in Indianapolis and in summers is head of the piano faculty at the internationally-renowned Interlochen Arts Camp in northern Michigan. She also has a successful YouTube channel, “The Piano Prof”, a resource for piano teachers and students on a variety of pedagogical topics. Dr. Boyd is a regular presenter at MTNA National Conferences and was the 2017 Teacher of the Year for Indiana Music Teachers Association.
