The OMTA believes that children with musical potential deserve the opportunity to develop their talent through formal music lessons. But many children are unable to enroll in music lessons because of financial limitations. OMTA helps solve this problem through its partnership with MusicLink, a financial assistance program that provides students with music lessons via full or partial music scholarships.
Students who are accepted into the MusicLink program are taught by OMTA teachers. They may also receive discounts on music and materials, music camp scholarships, or assistance with musical instruments.
If you are parent, teacher, or community leader who wishes to nominate a child for the MusicLink program, you can do so by filling out a form through the MusicLink web site.
